4th;
Linda attends class meeting this week. We
are discussing the role of the Project Manager.
6th;
We
had our first client meeting. We met as a team 15 minutes early
ironing out any details before meeting Karen. Everyone was present.
As a team and with our client we determined the look and feel of
the site. (2 hours total)
11th;
Yuri
attend class meeting this week. They discuss mock-ups, templates,
creative brief and special needs interface.
18th;
Evan attends class meeting this week. They
discuss what program need the client will need and what type of
programming will be done.
20th;
We had our second client meeting. We reviewed
and revised the storyboard. We also discussed Production Standards.
Yuri went over color and more questions regarding the look and feel
of the site. Evan discussed the urgency of an ISP with Karen and
received a commitment from her. We also received more content in
the form of slides, word docs and line art.
25th;
Jill
attends the class meeting this week. She reports the content received
from our client.
29th;
Team members tabulate hours spent on the project
and also required documents.

Every
Friday the team tabulates hours spent on the project.
We
communicate via e-mail and phone calls.
Jill
has made a copy of the minutes of our first meeting as requested
by Karen. Jill is starting her initial storyboard, which we will
verify with Karen and make minor adjustments if needed.
Evan
has started working on the program-ing for the site. We have picked
up initial client content.
We
have a very capable team.
At
this time everyone is learning their roles in the project. Each
team member has been assigned to areas of the Web Proposal due on
the 9th of October. As they arrive I will put together our Web Proposal
packets.
Linda(PM)
is creating the team site. I will also be putting together the strategic
brief, production standards,storyboard, work chart, timeline and
contracts.
Evan(Programmer)
is developing programs used in the client site. He is also working
on the technical brief.
Yuri(Designer)
is working on the mock-ups for the client site. He is also writing
the creative brief.
Jill(Content
Developer) is working on the deliverables document. She also has
done the minutes at our meetings and developed the shell site.

4th;
Everyone
stays in contact via e-mail and phone calls. Met as a team on the
to view programs and finish deliveralbes(2hrs). I have received
finished reports and am compiling them into our Web Proposal Documents.
8th;
Linda (PM) met with Karen our contact at the
Arts Council. We have all documents signed and approved.
9th;
Web
Proposal Presentation; Linda, Yuri and Evan attend and present site
along with all documents.
11th;
We
met as a team once again(2hrs) to fix any problems and discuss concerns.
Yuri modified mock-ups and is working on turning them into templates.
16;
Templates
to web pages; converting mock-ups into templates. Yuri and Jill
attend class this week. Jill will be adding content for the next
few weeks.
30th;
Bids and Contracts are discussed. Linda, Evan
and Yuri attend class this week. Linda does a short presentation
on IP's and what you can expect when working for yourself

We
are all working hard as a team. We contact each other as needed
through phone calls and e-mails. So far, we have had barely a bump
in the road. I know November will be a bit more difficult.
Our
Web Proposal Presentation was a great success. All documents were
well done by team members and all turned in to me on time. We have
all documents signed off by our client at the Petaluma Arts Council.
We
have a content cut-off date (Oct.20,)and Karen has committed to
an ISP as well as a domain name. We will wait until further notice
from her and begin testing the site ourselves in early November.
Jill
is working diligently on putting all content on the pages. She has
also worked very hard on the resourse page. She has gained permission
to use all names, address' , url's used on this page.
Evan
is working overtime at this time developing a registry, members
form and calendar for the site.
Yuri
is working on background images and the icons within all of our
pages.

6th;
Website Testing, Jill and Yuri will attend
class this week.
7th-10;
Finishing up site, we are working on last
minute graphics, scripts and html formatting.
13th;
Optional
Web Development meeting. Held in the Stony Point Business Park.
20th;
Typical user testing discussed. Linda and
Evan attend class this week. Team Meeting-Everyone attended (1hr)
before class.
27th;
Marketing the website, Jill will attend class this week. Jill will
create a classmate testing report. Yuri will work on the client
testing report. Linda will be creating a typical user report. Evan
will work on equipment testing reports. All reports are due either
the 27th (Jill & Yuri) or December 4th (Evan and Linda)

Once
again everyone compiles hours worked on the site every Friday. These
hours will be used in our final bid.
We
are all working on finishing. A lot of final touches are being done
by Evan. Suggestions from team member testing is taken into consideration
on a few aspects of the site. We will discuss what will be done
via team meeting and e-mails.
Everyone
enjoy your Thanksgiving this week. It is a good time for me to say,
I am thankful for such a good team and client. It isn't always that
easy working virtually and I am happy to say things have gone rather
smoothly. Thank you also for all of your patience and hard work.
I am appreciative.
Working
on finishing up all testing. Thank you Jill for preparing our test
questions for us. I know I appreciate your efforts and I think I
can speak for Yuri as well.

4th;
Climber's Teams attend, we all will be attending the class this
week. We will discuss giving the client a CD with all .psd, image
folders, and html pages.
6th;
We
will meet with Karen for training and hand-off of all materials
involved with the website production. Return all slides given and
original content.
18th;
Final Presentation in Emeritus Hall

Everyone
will be helping with finalizing the site.
We
will make copies of site for Karen and ourselves.
